My insurance company informed me today that my car is is a write-off.
“Our engineer has now examined your car and it is their initial view that your car is uneconomical to repair.”
I now have the fun of having to find a new (or at least used) car. Anyone want to come car shopping with me this weekend?
Last weekend Sarah and I moved ourselves and our belongings to Bristol. We are now renting a small flat in Cotham. We have easy access to shops and restaurants. I can quickly jump onto the M32 in the mornings and wizz myself along to work in Chippenham.
The move went well. We had lots of help from friends and we managed to get all the large heavy furniture done in one day. We did a self move rather than using a removal company.
Sunday involved moving lots of boxes and things that we hadn’t got around to packing.
We are now living in box city while we find homes for everything we own. We have already made two trips to Ikea to buy more storage space.
As of Feb 18th Sarah and Daniel will be living in the Cotham area of Bristol. We have decided to move so that Sarah can be closer to her work and that we can be closer to our friends. We have found a lovely two bedrom flat in a newly converted Georgan house, photos of which are in the gallery.
The durrans.com website has now been redesigned to take into account the new techniques that I have learnt over the past two years. The website has better cache control for faster browsing and also tries to take useability and accessibility requirements into account.
